Warmups for Low Brass #1

Long Tones with Glissandos

By Don Strand

This first version can be practiced with Free Buzzing and Mouthpiece buzzing for all tunings. The Bass line can be played on a trombone to practice the glissandos with the slide. The red notes won’t be achievable with one slide to the target on the trombone.

I recommend turning the metronome on for this exercise using the icon at the bottom of the player.
